The Chairman of the House Committee on Steel Development and member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has congratulated Christian faithfuls on the occasion of this year’s Christmas celebration.

In his goodwill message, issued on Thursday, the Federal lawmaker noted that “beyond just Christmas, witnessing the end of this year is quite a significant and uncommon blessing for all to thank God about. Especially, for his love, forgiveness, peace and other blessings enjoyed all through the year.”

He noted that, “the yuletide is an avenue for all to reflect on these blessings and replicate same in the life of those in need.”

Halims expressed optimism that the Nation at large will be better off if all imbibes the spirit of unity, love, tolerance and respect for the opinion of others.

He buttressed that the decadence of these virtues amidst unnecessary covet is the hallmark of insecurity and kidnappings that are been witnessed across the country.

The lawmaker thereafter appealed to all, irrespective of faith to pray for the country, leaders and government in the quest to achieving a secure, peaceful and united Nigeria.

He then wished the people of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Local Government Areas, Kogi State and Nigeria at large a festival of merriments and a prosperous New Year, in advance.
