The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Security in charge of Yagba West Local Government, Tade Oshaloto has been commended for improvement on security of the local government and its environs.
The latest commendation comes on the heels of the recovery of a Honda Accord salon car belonging to one Hon. Davies Sunday Biaye from Odo-Eri.
Armed bandits had stormed the residence of Hon Biaye demanding for cash. The victim, while unable to give them money, was ordered to release his car to them.
The security apparatus in Yagba West LGA was promptly alerted and the armed bandits were trailed and intercepted by the vigilante at a border community in the local government.
The vehicle and one of the suspected bandits have been handed over to the police.
On his part, the SSA credited the success of his various security operations to the invaluable support of the Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the cooperation and commitment to duty of the security operatives in the local government.
He specifically commended the security agencies in the local government for their proactiveness and urged them to sustain the synergy for effective security.
