Member representing Dekina/Bassa in the of House of Representatives, Alhaji Hassan Abdullahi Baiwa has sent a message of felicitation to the people of his constituency on the 21 years of the return to democracy in Nigeria.
In a statement issued on Friday, Baiwa charged his constituents and the people of Kogi state to relive confidence in their leaders to attract more dividends of democracy.
He noted that democracy is the best form of governance world over and Nigerian should not be an exception. He added that the gains of democratic practice can not be quantified and urged his constituents to learn to live by it.
He promised to live by his words and actions that will ensure quick and accelerated development of the constituency.
The lawmaker pleaded with constituents not to prioritise individuals welfare above general well-being, stressing that a robust society will lead to people’s emancipation.
