“The Kogi governorship project is all encompassing. The young, the old, men and women have a part to play as we march towards the governorship election in November. May that part be that of peace, absence of violence and the people allowed to freely exercise their civic franchise without intimidation, harassment and inducement.

“Our nation and states, should observe orderliness and peaceful coexistence and not become war zones on electoral processes. It is on this note that I call and plead with us to shun violence and embrace peace. Truly, there is no visible alternative to peace anywhere around the World.

“All should preach peace, but specifically, the elders, preach peace and caution the younger ones against violence, while the younger ones, adhere to the wise counsel of the elders and give peace and their life a chance.  Killings and disrespect for human life must stop.
