Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo and all those deviously hell-bent on Kogites have murdered my sleep and will sleep no more. I don’t know why they feel unrestricted in their mind. They cherry-picked something else instead of the needful. They promote division instead of a structure that should unite the people. They keep telling us that they detest ethnic politics. Yet, they are the real ethnic bigots. They have surrounded themselves with evil confidants to defy the sanctity of due processes.

Why did Kingsley made contempt of those who frankly heeded a nationalistic call, by sacrificing their invaluable time to tender a nonviolent complaint to the office of APC National chairman? Why did he tag their mission as exercise in futility? Between Yahaya Bello who has abandoned his duty post in search of a ticket he will never find and those who obviously answered the clarion calls, who made a more futile exercise?

That reminds me, please permit me to ask His Excellency. How was Abuja and Lagos trip? Was it successful? I would have sent genuflect emissaries, if not that the information came to me very late. You know it won’t augur well if Kogites like me passes by and see our affable governor prostrating for what he could get on platter of gold. It was also reported that you did not travel with Mr. president due to security cataclysms in Kogi state. Your excellency sir, in the name of Allah, were you been sincere to the people?

Back to business, greed has reduced APC-Kogi government to objects of mockery. If not that they hurriedly ate up their political cakes, Kingsley, Edward and their principal should merry while the people ensure they are re-elected. But reverse is now the case as they run from pillar to polls in their endless quest to return to power. But as long God is on the throne they will fail.

Quite suitably, APC government are notorious merchants of blame game. And Kingsley on his part will never breath the air of fulfilment without allotting blames on the past government. His recent articles titled “When The Lawless Strangers Gather Against Due Process” was yet another laughable, misconstrued parlance calculatingly shepherded on the altar of mischief. Firstly, the heading typified the current governor and the people of kogi state and not Kingsley’s body language. Oh yes! Yahaya Bello is a stranger to the seat he currently occupies. He has no idea what it means to govern an already despairing state. Even if he does, he is too selfish to heed to common plights.

They tried to bring to bear why Kogi state government could not pay salaries. Thus, we were told that the current wage bills stand at N5.8 which is the synopsis of two consecutive months of state allocation. That, state allocations depleted to N2.5 billion since 2015 due to the fall in price of the Nation’s major revenue base. We were also told that government is servicing external debt with the sum of N840 million Naira monthly (uncoordinated figures). Hence, the reason government is unable to pay salaries.

I choose to be blinded by this deceitful figures. I choose to act as if we have no access to firsthand information as they do. But I will judge them by their words. Monthly allocations are not the only revenue base for the state. We also have internally generated revenues which they claimed was tremendously boosted under this government? The government was also lucky to have enjoyed one of the best availability of funds- the Paris club refunds which was paid in tranches. How were the funds expended that civil servants, health and institutions had to suffer so much hardship?

According to the National Bureau of statistics in 2016 (before the screening and verification exercise), Kogi spent a total of N30 billion on 13,080 civil servants’ salary annually- an estimated sum of N2.5 billion Naira as total monthly wage bill. After the suffocating staff screening and verification exercise, the monthly wage bill for state and LG workers stands at N5.8 billion (N5.5 billion). I.e. N2.8 and N2.7 billion Naira respectively. Why had the wage bills remain this vast despite the much publicized screening exercise? Does that mean there were no ghost workers? What was the outcome of the exercise, and what is Yahaya Bello and his cohorts hiding from us? Only in their innermost heart will answer to these questions be found.

Still trying to ponder on why salaries could not be paid. In 2017, reports from the official website of the state government shows the IGR recorded a tremendous increase of about 300% (N350 million to over N1 billion). This is more than enough to take care of the purported N800 million debt servicing. Yet, salaries are being owed to the tune of 15 to 17 months. Let’s assume that workers can only be paid with at most, two months’ state allocation, can’t our government follow that pattern? What happen to innovations that every government should be characterized?

I was in our famous college of Education (Ankpa) recently. And the plights of Lecturers there almost killed the humanity in me. Imagine, how can these people sacrifice so much to ensure that a better generation is breaded yet, they can’t afford to train their own children in school due to non-payment of salaries? What are we bringing to bear if these children are not properly trained? Anyone with a living conscience will understand that this government has killed the people of Kogi state. Killing is not only done by guns and cutlass alone. If you deliberately deny the people of livelihood, you have killed them. If a man cannot confront his marital responsibilities, he is a dead man. If the social life of an individual is no longer as usual, the man is already a living corpse. On this note, Yahaya Bello led APC Kogi has killed the people socially, morally and psychologically. If I must say, he has made the people disobeyed God.

If monthly allocations were not enough to take care of salaries, Bailout funds, Paris club club refunds, and all the loan should. Why then were the people left to suffer so much hardship in the midst of plenty? Yet, same debilitated people want to continue in their mode oppression. God has voided their ambitions even before it was conceived. Besides, if the people are unable to speak for themselves, the spirit of those who had gone to early grave as a result of lack of proper medical care will speak. Those who have committed suicide due to some helpless situations will speak. The anger of our children who have continuously remain in school without a clue of when to graduate will speak. Most of all, the innocent blood been wasted daily as a result of an excavated incessant Fulani herdsmen attacks will speak. Together, the wall of lawlessness and tyranny in Lugard House will be destroyed.

Contrary to many exhumed lies, monthly allocation has progressively increased. I stand to be corrected. And December allocation is typical of my claims. Kogites should know that the figure (N2.5 million) is the greatest lies from the pit of hell, a deceit of the highest order and a message from the messenger of doom. Any time they come to you with such lies, disregard them. They shouldn’t be taken serious.

We don’t have leaders with political will. What we have instead are some sycophants and brigands of power. Their root is cursed. Their mind is spiritually programmed for perpetual evil against humanity. They have no progressive agenda that devoid personal conceits. Each day I wake up in the morning to listen to news on the national TV, I pray not to see them because my day will be ruined. As a matter of fact, I have stopped viewing TV with my children because they will see them and ask questions. Fellow Kogites, even if FG ceases to give us monthly allocation or bailout funds, we can still fund our daily expenses and be fine. Or is Bello and co not aware that there are numerous resources littering kogi state that are been illegally tapped daily? The answer is no. What is actually absent is political will.

Evangelist Kingsley Fanwo’s impenitent lies are the made-up infrastructural achievement of GYB conscripted in his article. Wait a minute, who should we believe among the numerous story tellers? Yahaya Bello who has consistently posit that salaries are been paid or Kingsley Fanwo who is wailing on the social media with copious pretext why Kogi government is unable to pay salaries? Obviously, the ultimate confusion is here. Kogi government and its image makers are not conjugated in the information they disseminate. We have also toured round the confluence city, what they claimed to have done is non-existing.

Be that as it may, Kinglsey posited that Kogites are with Bello because of his unbiased appointments that cut across the three senatorial districts. I have constantly maintained that government is not about those you are surrounded by. It is what you achieve within the general discourse. And having not found anything serious about this government I have also said without equivocation that those Yahaya Bello surrounded himself with are confidants of evil machination. They exist at his whims and caprices. In fact, the statement should have been Kogites are against Bello because he is appositely a colossal failure.

What is the current security architecture in Kogi state that Kinglsey claimed Yahaya Bello has done more than enough? How do you measure the standard security of lives and properties of the people? I will begin with how over N260 million Kogi’s common wealth went drained within the first two weeks of GYB in office. They claimed the money was spent as security votes yet, Kogites cannot sleep with their eyes close. Today, kidnapping in Kogi state is a usual headline news. Dekina and other part of the state can testify. As a matter of reality, Dekina Olowa road has become a den of Kidnappers. As a security conscious governor, what was Bello thinking when he deliberately invited Fulani terrorist to the once peaceful Kogi state? Everyone knows Fulani killings was deepened immediately kogi state government accepted to provide a land for ranching.  Why did our security conscious governor quickly accept this without cognizance to the security impact? And considering what they have caused in Benue state?

Still on Kingsley’s deceitful statement, he said Bello ordered a bush clearing along Itobe-Ajaokuta-Lokoja highways to cub criminal activities. Of course, I saw that in 2017 but knew instantly that Bello has nothing to offer Kogites. For God’s sake, how does highway bush clearing cub criminals when the said road is absolutely condemned. Has Kingsley not passed through Itobe-Ajaokuta-Lokoja Abuja highways?

His prognosis of GYB’s achievement in the health sector is hilarious. How could he pretend not to hear how kogites die daily due to inapt medical care. Until this moment, government hospitals have no ambulance and other emergency services. What about the health practitioners whom Bello has threatened frequently should they ask for their entitlements? Is Kingsley not in Kogi state? Why is he acting sham of the rots in the health sector?

He spoke about agriculture. You see, for a better understanding of this government’s ineptitude, agricultural sector should be your main focus. The state lawmakers in 2018 approved the acquisition of N4 billion loan for the establishment of rice meal. Shortly after, FG enlisted Kogi in the states it would establish rice meal. Although, the project has since begun, but the question in every lip is whether the project is being funded by the federal government and GYB quickly acted on the available information to acquire a needless loan or the said loan is actually being used to build the rice meal plant.

Be that as it may, Bello lacks the developmental blueprint that inculcate the general aspiration. That is why he could not see that the percentage of cashew and cassava production is higher than rice. I wonder how kingsley claimed that bello has boosted agriculture when there are no motorable road with which farmers can move their products to the market.

He claimed due process was restored in the public procurement act, yet, unexecuted contracts are being awarded to cronies at exorbitant rate. I will not forget the purported rural electrification he mentioned. As at 2018, findings revealed that 90 percent of kogi residence are in 72 hours’ darkness compared to the initial 8 hours. This means, Kogites enjoy light once in a week as a result of poor maintenance.

Unknown to Kingsley, he has interminably ridiculed himself. Where are the road he claimed was constructed under GYB? Besides, which township road was renovated in Ankpa? Even in deception, they are helpless.

Another crying shame, was his purported performance in the education sector. Even if everyone had lost the place of morality, it shouldn’t be my Evangelist- a servant of God who should be an embodiment of truth always. Which Education sector did Bello reform in Kogi state? The ones which lecturers had allegedly resigned or the ones that students will never graduate due to endless strike? How did Bello reform education in Kogi state? By hand picking some medical students in KSU and gave them scholarship while others were left to their fate?  Why did Bello ban ASSU (Kogi state chapter)? Were they also a threat to our institutions of learning or they were simply prevailing in their struggles to compel him into doing the right thing?

Again, Kingsley has successfully displayed some elements of falsehood aimed at misleading the gullible kogites. Do your findings, Kogi state is currently the least place any investors will want come for Any form of investment. The said achievement did not exist anywhere. As a matter of fact, Bello and his APC Kogi did not achieve anything. Rather they opted for selling off the already existed asset.

Bello has no progressive agenda for Kogi state. Instead, he seeks to constrict it by all means. He drags his feet over anything that could better the life of Kogites. His major activities as state governor is politicking.

I think the time is ripe for certain question to be asked. First, there was no impact from the Godforsaken screening and verification exercise as the current wage bills is on the increase compare to what we had previously. Therefore, I am calling on the relevant authorities to probe the outcome of the exercise which over N44 million was used to published on National dailies. While Kogites languishes in abject poverty, Bello was fighting political war. He abandoned Kogi project to fight the wind. As a matter of fact, he spent Kogi resources in fighting Senate Dino Melaye (Kogi west senatorial districts).

Governor Yahaya Bello is a dictator who expatiate his wings on anyone who dares to ask for the right thing. Vote Yahaya Bello and forget about Kogi state. He has no business with the democratic space we hope to deepen, rather, he constricts it every now and then. What he would have used to develop Kogi state were used to put up inconsequential and dead political structures. His relationship with the former National chairman of APC was one of the holes that swallowed our common patrimony. We know how Oyegun handled non accomplished road contracts at a very extortionate price in Kogi state. We also know how he fought some stronger forces to ensure Oyegun returns. Thank God nemesis is on course. We also know how state allocation was expended on a lesser Haji trip to Dubai after access bank deducted the amount due for loan servicing for the month, leaving behind the Kitchen cabinet members to their fate during the festival.

Once Bello perceives the presence of a political enemy, kogi resources bears the brunt of a dirty fight. I would not forget how a very radiant LG administrator lost his job after building a secretariat in the name of the new direction government. I will not forget the ongoing rivalry between the governor and his deputy over trifling issues.

How can a governor revive a dying state when his major priority is self-interest? How can state allocation sustain salaries when all that matters is to prepare the field for the next context. Yahaya Bello is not the product Kogites need. He is not prudent enough to salvage an ailing economy of Kogi state. His reign is, and will be piles of external debt that will subsequently land Kogi state into a refugee camp. Currently, there is no assembly seat from the opposition. It therefore means, bills, budgets and appropriations would be strictly at the whims and caprices of the governor. This will also have direct bearing on some of the sensitive but disastrous decisions he has previously taken. For instance, the mendacious cattle ranching will be enhanced properly.

This is just a tip of ice berg. We will be more cogent in the next episode. Yahaya Bello must go.

God Bless Kogi state.
