Leaders and members of United Evangelical Church (UEC), Okula Aloma in Ofu local government area of Kogi state have promised to continue to support Governor Yahaya Bello with prayers.
The church made this known when the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ugbede Paul Ebije visited the worship centre on Sunday.
Ebije expressed gratitude to the church in his Okula Aloma hometown for their trust in him and the Yahaya Bello led administration.
He assured them that the governor has their interest at heart and believes in the youth.
Ebije counseled the congregation to channel their support towards helping Yahaya Bello win the upcoming November governorship election. The youthful commissioner informed the congregation that all the good things they are enjoying from him presently in Okula community are just the beginning of better things he has in stock for them.
He promised that he will soon flag off a road project in the area, from Alobi through Okula. He lamented that the road has suffered neglect for so long as it was abandoned by the previous administrations in the state.
He urged them to continue to trust the Bello led administration and not to relent in promoting its good deeds.
Responding, Pastor Napoleon Okolo expressed gratitude to God for making one of their sons a member of the state executive council.
He assured the commissioner that him and the entire congregation will do their best in supporting the governor’s reelection.
He offered special prayers for Governor Bello assuring that the God that has kept him for this long will continue to keep and guide him through his course.
