The Director General of Protocol to the Governor of Kogi State, Pharmacist Abdulkarim Jamiu Mohammed has called on the people of the state to embrace peaceful coexistence and allow their lives reflect positive change as exemplified by the Lord Jesus Christ.
He said Christmas is a season that explains the depth of God’s love for mankind and exemplary sacrifice that we should emulate in our relationship with our neighbours irrespective of status and creed.
He noted that this season is another opportunity to increase our acts of kindness and embrace peace, love and unity within ourselves.
Pharm. Abdulkarim said, it is living in peace and harmonious co-existence and respecting each other’s right, we can live freely and peacefully as well as being our brothers’ keepers that we are truly celebrating the essence of Christmas.
He called on the citizens to continue to support the New Direction Agenda led by our admirable governor Yahaya Bello in his untiring quest to positively move the State to the next level and he also encourage the Christian Christians to vote all APC flagbeares across the twenty-one 21 Local Government of the state.
In his conclusion, Pharm. Abdulkarim urged them to continue to pray for the peace, tranquility, progress and economic emancipation of the State and the country in general that, their prayers which he must admit, that have been the motivation for the developmental strides of this present administration.
