My People! My people!
It is time to discuss issues and not personalities or political parties. Hunger knows no party affiliation or religion.
During my tours and campaigns prior to the proposed PDP primaries, I promised my constituents of my support and voice whether I get the ticket or otherwise. I promised to put ahead of my ambition, the welfare of my people and never to leave you all alone. As God will plan it, I didn’t get to contest in the primaries.
Since events turned out the way we have it now. My quest for a saner and better society doubled. Whether in contest or not!
Theย  event of theย  primaries for all the political parties is done and dusted, candidates have been confirmed and nearly everyone is set to kick-start electioneering campaign. The winners and non winners have emerged but we must move ahead into the issues that will affect our future and actions that will sharpen our consciousness.
We now have Hon Hassan Baiwa Abdullahi as APC’s flagbearer, who has been in the house of Assembly for nearly four years.
Let us challenge him to open up on the bills and motions he sponsored while representing us as deputy speaker and what he intend to so when he gets to the National Assembly.
My Party’s official candidate – Hon Benjamin Ikani Okolo is a sitting member of House of Representatives, let’s challenge him to mention the bills and motions he sponsored while in the office and what he intendย  doing if given the second chance. Same goes for his efforts in bringing Federal Government’s attention back to Dekina-Bassa.
ADC has Hon Abdul Ihiabe (Positive) as its flag bearer, he was in National Assembly not too long ago, he should show us what he did then and what he will offer differently if given another chance.
SDP’s Philips Idakwo is having his first shot, what has he gotten to offer Dekina/Bassa, what are his plans and what will he do different from all his predecessors.
All these will occupy our space and discourse as we prepare for the general elections.
We must not allow our constituency to suffer another term of docility. Our constituency allowances must be made open and how it is or how it was expended.
At the end, we will all suffer it. Not the political parties but indigenes.
I stand for the betterment of my community, my constituency and my state.
– Comrade Johnson Musa
