The Kogi State chapter chairman of Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) and Administrator of Ijumu Local Government, Dr. Taufiq Isa has expressed confidence in the ability of the new Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun Traditional Council, HRM. Oba Solomon Dele Owonihi to bring immeasurable development, peace and progress to the ancient city.
The Administrator, while felicitating with the Kabba/Bunu Local Government and people of Okun Land on the coronation and presentation of Staff of Office to the monarch by the the Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, said the new Oba’s pedigree in the art of governance and public administration, positive approach to societal issues and his sense of justice and fairness will give him the launchpad to succeed in his new assignment.
Hon. Taufiq Isa congratulated the 44th Obaro of Kabba and charged him to relentlessly spearhead, promote and defend, not only the cultural values of the people of Kabba, but also the peace, progress, unity and development of Okun land.
