Okehi 2019: Past Kogi Central Student Leaders Forum to Pick Nomination Form for Avabee

A youth group under the aegis of Past Kogi Central Student Leaders has pledged her support to the Kogi State House of Assembly aspirant for Okehi constituency, Patriot Matthew James Avabee ahead of the 2019 general election.
The leader of the group, Comrade Hamza Yakubu, who is one time National Vice president of National Association of Ebira students (NAES) and president of National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), UniAbuja chapter, stated this during the group stakeholders meeting at Otite, Okehi local government area of Kogi state.
He stated that the group stakeholders declared their support for the aspirant because of his love for the youth of the constituency and his past positive and progressive antecedents when he served at different office during his days as students union leader.
According to him, the young Avabee has the capacity to give attention to the socio-economic problems of Okehi constituency and “with his connection across the world, he will know how to address most of the challenges facing our people and  proffer pragmatic solutions to them if voted come 2019.
“As a group, we have put ourselves together and have raised the money for the collection of the nomination form for the State House of Assembly come 2019 for Okehi State Constituency and we are making plans in taking bold steps to pick his nomination form of N750, 000.00, which will be handed over to Avabee Campaign Team (ACT) in Eika-Ohizenyi on the 6th September.”
Mr Adeiza Isaac Akanbi who spoke on behalf of Avabee Campaign Team, commended the effort of the group describing it as a step in the right direction and also appreciated them for believing in the candidature of Young Patriot Avabee James Matthew.
“With Patriot Matthew James Avabee, whose late grandfather, Alh Musa Onsachi and late father, Prince Matthew Tunji contribute so much to Okehi community, it will be a win win victory for the ruling party (APC) and the people if given ticket and mandate,” he said.
