Our attention has been drawn to a press release authored and signed by Hon. Folorunsho Oladare aka Jam de Box which ordinarily should not be dignified with any response.
However, the need to set records straight and expose his mischief and lies makes this rejoinder imperative.
Hon. Folorunsho Oladare has been caught about three times loading timber at night to defraud the State Government and has a pending case in court against him for his fraudulent activities.
Since the appointment of Emmanuel Ayo Arewa as Consultant to the State Government on revenue generation from timber for Kabba/Bunu LGA, it has been business unusual as he has plugged all leakages in the system for the benefit of the state and it is not a surprise that he has consistently met targets set for him.
Expectedly, Hon. Folorunsho Oladare and his ilks will no doubt be aggrieved and will resort to every vile tactics to maintain what was obtainable before Emmanuel Ayo Arewa came onboard.
The old order where much needed revenue that should accrue to the State is siphoned and appropriated by few individuals, Emmanuel Ayo Arewa has dismantled and he remain focused to deliver on his mandate to deliver in adherence to his terms of engagement.
Emmanuel Ayo Arewa from what has accrued to him has embarked on several life transforming programs in the area of human capital development such as provision of scholarship to indigent students in primary and secondary schools, purchase of GCE, WAEC and JAMB forms for others. He has purchased motorcycles and drilled boreholes to ameliorate the suffering of the people in search of drinkable water.
Within the resources available to Emmanuel Ayo Arewa, he has exhibited real understanding of the New Direction Agenda of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello and has justified the confidence reposed in him.
Isn’t it curious that Hon. Folorunsho Oladare is the author and sole signatory of a purported vote of no confidence by a union with over a thousand membership?
If Hon. Folorunsho Oladare moved to the opposition party because the New Order is more about collective good rather than selfish egocentric interests of a few individuals, we wish him all the best as that will not impact negatively on the fortunes of our great party, All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State and Nigeria.
Hon. Folorunsho Oladare should direct his energy on the criminal proceedings against him in Court and stop his puerile and futile attempt to blackmail a patriotic Kogite who is of the conviction that the interest of the State in terms of revenue generation supersedes that of a few individuals.
Emmanuel Ayo Arewa remains committed to his assigned task and will not be dettered or distracted by the confused rantings of certain individuals.
We call on His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello to disregard the expression of bitterness by those whose hands are stuck in the cookie jar trying to divert attention from their malfeasance.
Emmanuel Ayo Arewa is an Okun son in whom we are well pleased because of his unwavering loyalty to the New Direction Agenda. He is a great asset not only to Kabba/Bunu LGA but Kogi State.
