A frontline politician and House of Representatives aspirant in Lokoja Koto-karfe Federal Constituency, Alh. Isah Haruna has assured his people of purposeful representation in the National Assembly if given the mandate in the fourth coming bye -election.
Alh. Haruna, contesting under the platform of All progressive Congress (APC), promised to attract quality and people-oriented projects to the constituency to enhance the socio-economic life of the people in the constituency.
He said his decision to vie for the position stemmed from his desire to contribute to the development of his people.
He disclosed that the collective interest and well-being of the people in the area would form the nucleus of his representation, noting that he would never betray the confidence reposed in him by the electorate if given the opportunity to serve them.
He added that the era of using ethnicity and religion in politics is over.
In reiterating his determination to work towards the eradication of poverty from his constituency, Haruna Isah assured that he would strive to ensure sustainable empowerment by creating an environment that allows the people to continuously generate a source of income adding that development projects will be based on social research and the promotion of peace in the constituency.
The state APC chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Bello [Dollar] described Alh. Haruna Isah as credible, reliable and capable. He urge the good people of Lokoja koto-karfe constituency to come out enmasse to vote for Alh. Haruna Isah in the bye-elections.
Bello also noted that the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains the only viable alternative in the quest for a greater Nigeria, stressing that the electorates must be discerning in their choice of who become their elective representatives in 2019.
He stressed that Alh. Haruna’s mission is to develop and promote the relationship between the constituents and their representative in the House for a more people oriented and people centered policies.
Alh. Haruna pointed out that his strategy in achieving his vision is to collaborate with the Executive to foster sustainable development within the constituency, empower communities in his constituency to generate a broad range of support from all level of government, non non-governmental and international partners.
He said he will also collaborate with the executive to enhanced real development at the grassroots, adding that he will also demonstrate how real collaboration between the various stakeholders can generate more effective results in addressing the community challenges.
He assured the people of Lokoja/Koton Karfe that he will achieve a legacy of sustainable development across the constituency by employing participatory approach to ensure that the constituents are carried along in the prioritization and implementation of projects.
Alh. Haruna Isah called on the people of his constituency that he is the change they want and ensure that the change they finally elect is the one they can trust and relate with.
