The people of Lokoja LGA have protested the state government take over of Obajana Trailer Park, describing the action as wicked.
Spokesman of the group, Ismaila Fiki Danjuma, said it was wrong for the state government to take the only revenue source of Lokoja people.

Danjuma who said the Obajana Trailer park was built with intervention, with the sole purpose of raising revenue for the local government area maintained that they will continue their protest until their demands to return the park is met.
The group also said they were matching to the palace of the Maigari of Lokoja to present a letter of protest, saying enough is enough, the state government must rescind its decision or face the wrath of angry indigenes of Lokoja LGA.
The group lamented that even the agreement to remit 40% of the earning from the park is not paid to the council by the state government, describing it as bridge of trust.
The group vow to occupy the state government house if in another one week the trailer park is not returned to the council.
