A frontline House of Assembly aspirant seeking to represent Olamaboro State constituency on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming election in Kogi State, Comrade Bobby Ujah has called on Muslims to tolerate one another.
In a statement issued on Friday, Ujah urged Muslims to utilize the season to pray for Nigeria And government at all levels.
“I congratulate Muslims in Olamaboro LGA and by extension Nigeria on the successful completion of Ramadan fast. Ramadan brings out the best in the life of the faithful because it teaches the brotherhood of man and how that can be deepened through acts of charity and universal love.
“Ramadan is the month that the Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohammed (SAW) and may Ramadan be the time that our intertwined destiny is revealed to us as a people.
“I pray that the lessons of this season would overwhelm any impulse to divide and may it lead to an impetus to unite us. Eid Mubarak,” he said.
