Senator Ahmed Ogembe representing Kogi central senatorial district has urged Nigerians, particularly Christians to replicate the good deeds of Jesus Christ by showing love to one another.
He made this call in statement signed by him and made available to press men in Abuja to felicitate with Christians on this year’s Easter celebration which mark the death and resurrection of Christ.
“I wish to use this medium to greet Christians brethren who are celebrating Esther, may the purpose and blessings of this celebration never elude us,”.the statement added .
He urged them to imbibe the spirit of patience and tolerance for one another irrespective of their faith or political affiliation.
Ogembe who noted the hardship occasioned by harsh economy said he has been doing his best to ensure the pain is cushioned to the best of his ability.
He said the many numerous empowerment program and stipends especially for women is one of those and express optimism to do more while ensuring that quality representation is at it peak.
Senator congratulated Christians on this memorable occasion praying to God to grant them many more years to witness the occasion and to also pray for the country as elections approaches.
Ogembe enjoined well to do Nigerians in the society to use the occasion to show love to the vulnerable in the society so as to transform them into the mainstream of the country’s development.
