Ojuwo Anyigba Lauds Senator Aidoko Over Provision of New Transformer, Social Safety Nets

The people of Ojuwo area in Anyigba, Kogi State said the donation of 500KVA transformer by the Senator representing Kogi East will ameliorate the epileptic power supply by AEDC to the community.
In a media statement made available to reporters by a delegation of the community, they said the gesture by Senator Atai Aidoko will go along way to encourage economic, entrepreneurial activities among the teeming youths of the area.
Led by Ogwu Solomon, the delegation said the Senator “who does not believe in blowing his trumpet through subjective politics,‎ had in the previous dispensation provided the community with motorised borehole, a skill acquisition centre at Islamiya primary school along with 500KVA transformer.
“Ojuwo and Agudoko community will continue to support the political aspirations of Senator Aidoko, come rain, come shine and regardless of whose ox is gored.
“If provision of social infrastructure in the area of portable water, electricity, skill acquisition centres, basic health facilities ‎and other interventions are the yardsticks for dividends of democracy, then we will rally round the senator to take us to the promise land.”
The delegation congratulated the Senator for playing a vital role of bridging the gap between bad governance and good governance prevalent at the state level, saying the people of the area know ‎that he is in the Senate to protect the interest of the Igala/Bassa race
Responding, Aidoko thanked the delegation for the visit, saying he will neither be rattled nor cajoled in the course of protecting the welfare of his people not minding political gimmicks from any quarters.
