A House of Representative aspirants under All Progressive Congress (APC) seeking to represent Dekina/Bassa Federal Constituency of Kogi State Hon Daniel Òne Ejigbo has donated a brand new transformer to the people of Abocho Community in Dekina Local government area of the state.
The transformer that was brought to the community on Wednesday 14th February, 2018 and was received amidst of joy and enthusiasm by the traditional rulers, community leaders and youth from the community.
In my conversation with him, Hon Ejigbo told me that his visit to his community during the last festive period prompted his action.
He stated further that he was not happy when the neighboring villages were flourishing in electricity supply while his home town was not only in darkness but all the economy activities were paralysed, hence he resolved within himself that provision of transformer to his people would not be a bad idea after all charity they said begins from the home.
Mr Ejigbo is an indigene of Até-Mekudi, Abocho Biraidu district, Dekina local government area of Kogi state. He is a trained public administrator with qualifications from various institutions in the country. He holds a masters degree in Finance and Policy analysis from the Ahmadu Bello university Zaria and a BSc in Public administration from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State.
He became more exposed to politics in 2005 when he started working with a member of the House of Representatives, where he has worked in various capacities and still has strong ties with. It is his belief that his people have been poorly represented and his desire is to change that.
He is dogged, hardworking and honest ,traits that are important in service. He is happily married with children.
