A Chairman Aspirant for Lokoja Local Government Area under the platform of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Hon. Bin-Ebaiya Shehu Tijjani a.k.a “Best” has pledged to work for the quick transformation, unity and positive development of the council if voted into office.
Hon. Shehu Tijjani the “Best” has also pledged to run an inclusive and transparent administration which would involve both the youths and focused stakeholders in his transformation agenda when given the mandate.
He contended that as a loyal and dedicated party man he would engage a wide consultation and use counsels on issues concerning the people before actions on them are executed “because power belongs to Allah and the people”
The Chairmanship aspirant hopefully stressed that as a grass root man who grew up among the people, he is well acquainted with the problems confronting the populace and consequently he would work hard to tackle and solve them squarely.
Issues including youth unemployment, infrastructure, developments, poverty alleviation, health and agriculture would be given prompt attention in addition to human developments generally.
According to him, his long time desire in joining politics is to see the quick transformation, unity and positive development of Lokoja LGA, which was once the capital of Nigeria and presently serving a dual role of being the capital of Kogi state and the headquarters of Lokoja Local Government Council.
He noted that with nostalgia that Lokoja was once the economic nerve-centre of the West Africa that bubbles with commerce, industry and social actions, stressing that his administration would explore all these past glories and work hard to bring back these memorable glories as the Council Chairman.
The “Best” then called support of the people of the Area and advised those who are yet to register to do so now and collect their PVC which according to him, is their power.
