Kogi Will Soon Get a World Class Transport System – Ademola Bello

The Chairman of the Kogi Express, Mr Ademola Belllo has assured of government’s interest in developing a world class transportation system in Kogi state.

 

Mr Bello who stated this in Lokoja shortly after the New Year’s celebration said the mega transport terminal is currently receiving attention from the state government to a achieve a centralised arena for travellers within and outside the state.

 

He said the initiative would boost the commercial activities in Lokoja and boost internally generated revenue as well.

 

Mr Bello said Kogi express has not adjusted its passenger’s fee despite the fuel hike which according to him was a demonstration of Governor Bello’s magnanimity for a joyous yuletide.

 

“At the peak of fuel scarcity, all the commercial vehicle adjusted their prices. In fact Lokoja to Lagos would cost between ten to fifteen thousand Naira but Kogi Express still maintained six thousand Naira. That’s why our loading bay was jammed packed through out the fuel crisis,” he said.

 

He maintained that the Governor has a noble experience in transportation and the state will in no small measure benefit from it and be upgraded with a world class transport system.
