The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kogi State has inaugurated local government executives elected during the party’s recent congresses.
PDP State Chairman, Engr Sam Ohuotu, who inaugurated the executives yesterday in Lokoja, charged them to focus on reconciliation.
Ohuotu, who enjoined them to also focus on aggressive membership drive, said since the PDP had reinvented itself, the era of impunity and imposition of candidates was over.
He expressed delight with the overall success of the party’s congresses in all the 21 local government areas (LGAs), adding that some of the hitches recorded in Okene LGA would soon be resolved.
The party’s chairman for Idah LGA, Alhaji Shaibu Abu, who spoke on behalf of others, assured that they would work for the victory of the party in their respective councils.
