Mokikan’s Election is Victory for Okunland – Fanwo

The Director General on Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kogi State, Kingsley Fanwo has described the victory of Barrister Femi Mokikan as the President of the Okun Development Association as victory for Okunland.
According to him, the victory of Mokikan shows nobody lost the election, saying the emergence of the former 7up Chief will herald a new era for the people of Okunland.
“In my personal capacity as the a true Okun son, I wish to congratulate Barrister Femi Mokikan as the new National President of the ODA. The crop of leaders taking over now will build on the selfless legacies of the outgoing executive.
“I have reported the development to the Governor in far away Anambra and he was thrilled by the capacity of Okun people to organize a democratic transition that will advance the frontiers of development in Okunland.
“The Governor promised to work with the new executive and charge them to be agents of Okun transformation and development. He urged the new EXCO to ensure unity with the other ethnic groups in Kogi State to promote his administration’s efforts at uniting the state for a common purpose”.
Fanwo expressed confidence in the ability of Barrister Mokikan to spark “a radical rediscovery of the Okun glory” , saying his wealth of experience will help promote “unity, equity and progress”.
