Member representing Igalamela/Odolu state constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Friday Sani Makama has stated that he his now well and without injuries following the recent brutal attack on him by some sponsored thugs during plenary in the Kogi State House of Assembly complex.
Makama made this disclosure when he received the leaderships of Odolu Progressive Association (OPA), Igala Young Stars (IYS) and Odolu Development Movement (ODM) who paid him a solidarity visit in his Abuja residence.
“Go home. Tell my people that I am well and in good mood. I have no injury worries and I will not stop demanding, fighting for and protecting the rights of my people”, he said.
In his remark, the President of OPA, Comrade Omale Joel Danladi condemned the attack against lawmakers in the state, describing it as an act of cowardice.
Similarly, the president of IYS, Mr. Musa Yakubu frowned at the violence perpetrated against lawmakers in the state and called on law enforcement agencies to be fair to all citizens in the performance of their duties.
