Kogi has been thrown in a state of anarchy and chaos.
The little I have learnt from schools, scholars, and some clear provisions of the Nigerian constitution has really built my moral understanding of the rules, limitations, does or dont and the political sociology of the territory I found myself as a bonafide citizen and indigene of both Nigeria and Kogi state.
The little knowledge I had accumulated, especially from the constitution as its relate to democratic governance shows clearly and present a specific roles for the 3 arms and organs of government thereby stipulating a separation of power among the organs of government which are the executive (governor and his cabinet), legislative (speaker and members of the assembly, judiciary (chief justice and members of the bench or NJC)the above example is applicable to the state arms, which is my targeted areas of objection.
While the elected governor and his cabinet is expected to bring d dividends of governance to their sovereign and territory in way of executing myriad of fuctions both capital and current fuctions,,as its responsible for prompt payment of salaries, arrears and pension of the state workforce, provision of needed infrastructure, protecting d life of people, seeking approval 4rm the assembly members on any important bills or budget only through lobby among other without viola ting d functions of d sister organs.
The state assembly are responsible 4 making bills and proposal ready for the governor after proper scrutinizing, make bye-laws 4 d state especially on emergency or unrest, responsible to check d power of the governor through impeachment the state judiciary are the apolitical and non partisan organs responsible to interpret d constitutional laws and serving as watchdog to both the governor and the assembly.
With all these diffusional functions, if to be followed according to the constitution provisions, the theory of democracy will have been the best and suitable style of governance devoid of rancour and prejudice.
Now, coming to THE DARKEST TERRITORY UNDER THE BLACK CONTINENT which i can best use to describe my state, KOGI STATE, I coined this bad but suitable name because  of the worrying scenario and a myriad of political pollution and controversies recently occasioned to the state by the ACCIDENTAL PUBLIC SERVANT we now have as our state governor, immediately the state governor came through the back door to enter the lugard house amidst unexpected controversies, there was a high expectations on the improvement of the state politics. but it is unlucky to got it not bad but worst again.
Coming to term the 18month of our unprepared governor with the democracy governance, the example can be best drawn on a story of “a farm-boy taking to school for the first time and given the monitor or head of his class the same day” to cut d story short, it is predictable that d digital administration of Kogi state will l spent much time in making errors, mistakes and violations of the governance though the nature of God, gift leadership to whom he will, but the best of leadership are those listen to advice.
To avoid getting out of context, the current kogi administration consider itself as omnipotent and a semi-god, a typical of Adolf Hitler everyone has to submits to, a government that does not know and does not want to knows his powers and limitations, no wonder, as he recently proclaimed banning of a nationally established union backed by democratic laws (ASUU) hence playing with the lives of the student as he no shame in engaging an endless war wit d body over the issues he lacks power to, thereby making mockery of himself and state as a DARK TERRITORY.
Ruling with highhandedness and a tyrant method not minding we are in democracy era.
The practical lord of the state crippled the hands of the state assembly, making them a puppet, executing many bills without refer to the state assembly, he completely shows his unacceptance to opposition of any form, from his party, organs of government, or any individual.
Orchestrated the plot early this year for the impeachment of a speaker by 5 over 26 members which I decried as the highest rape of democracy in the state and Nigeria at large, then plotting a suspension of any member not in support of his misrule out of d chamber, shun court final judgement many times as any of his opposition after scaling through in court always open to attack, threat by some political thugs until you succumb, examples of such victims are Rt. Hon. Lawal Jimoh who was force to resign under duress, after few month, today, Rt. Hon Imam Umar was shown the way out of the mantle of leadership through duress resignation as he was adamant to carried out the lord script and play a dirty job on the recall saga.
Mr. Governor is ignorant of what democracy means. Hunting those advising you will l amount to nothingness.
Is it not getting to  late for correction.
This is just a piece of advice which I think many who will read should sit and pound over it and get much understanding for the betterment of our dear state, Kogi state.
