As Kogi State mark one year Anniversary of Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration in the state, a party chieftain Mallam Suleiman Abdulmalik said Governor Bello is putting vision to work since assuming office.
According to him the administration came to power with a burning desire to change the status quo and put the state on the part of development which was lacking since its creation more than 25 years ago.
He described Governor Bello as a focused leader with great vision to transform Kogi State from a civil servants state to a commercial and an industrial one that would lead to greater opportunities and prosperity.
He added “Governor Bello is a man full of dreams. His vision is to raise the standard of living of the citizenry, a policy he pursues with great zeal and commitments.
“He’s financial discipline also defies the current recession that has cripple many states, while his collision course with the state civil servant is for the betterment of the workers who were receiving percentage salaries for too long” he said.
He said in the area of infrastructures, the state has witnessed monumental turnaround within one year across the three senatorial districts including the state capital.
Abdulmalik said governor Bello achievements has silenced the ranting of some failed opposition elements who are fighting for personal gain rather than collectives one which governor Bello epitomise in the state.
He said the press conference organised by some Abuja politicians are inconsequential and of no effect, saying they are dramatics who are not to be taking serious “if you want to dine with them use a long spoon or otherwise you’d have yourself to blame.
“Nemesis has caught up with majority of them from their ugly past and see governor Bello as their problem. They were caught up by our party change agenda where the business of plundering state resources is no more, hence governor Bello’s head” he explained.
The party chieftain appealed to the people of the state to cooperate with the present government in order to bring an end to underdevelopment.
He congratulates the governor and the people of the state for an eventful one year of the present administration.
