Leadership, especially political leadership tend to have lost its glory among the people of Ojoku/Enjema due to power intoxication and the nonchalant attitude of leaders whom have represented the area in previous dispensations. For this and other reasons which are interchanged in the change mantra and youthfulness of Hon Rabiu Mommoh Alfa, there seem to be a significant turn around as testimonies have justifies this assumption.
Having heard so much and finally resolved to see him, we arranged and I delayed myself till it was mid-day to ensure meeting an exhausted man, not to be just exhausted but also deserving rest young man. Lo and behold, he was neither well prepared nor heedless of a visitor but moderate enough to depict a worthwhile first time meeting and that was how my rapport started with Hon Rabiu Mommoh Alfa.
As supposed for any other first time visit, we had a truly progressive moment filled with fun, political discussions, educative deliberations as a counter argument was not left out to speak for and on behalf of the duo of captain Idris Ichala Wada and late Prince Abubakar Audu of blessed memory. Of course, you should already know where which party belongs or better still ask Google. Having had such a cool, wonderful and premeditated like moment, my heart kept whispering; is this guy for real?
The reality is therefore what I shall be taking time to justify but before then, I want to quickly highlight areas of interest in our discussions on Ojoku/Enjema socioeconomic development within the jurisdictions of a state house of assembly member. These items centered focally on accountability, rural water, educational development, commercial facelift and human capital development bearing in mind that good governance is not measured by the quantity of projects executed, rather by the benefit it has on the people as well as the impact it can create in the society at large.
Interestingly, within less than two years of stewardship as honorable member representing the good people of Ankpa 2 constituency at the Kogi state house of assembly, Hon Rabiu Mommoh Alfa has given a credible justification to his words. On accountability, he set an all-time record of presenting his constituency allowance to constituents to decide on what to do with it and of course, the resolutions cut across provision of portable water, educational development, health care services, commercial facelift and human capital development.
While it is easy to say that man is known by his character, in the case of Hon Rabiu, it is better to say man shall be known by the truth in his words as this has formed the basis of his existence. Without any exaggeration, “Hon Rabiu Is Restoring Premier Leadership To Ankpa 2 Constituency” and it is therefore pertinent for all those in/seeking/aiming positions of leadership to develop on this standard. No doubt, the journey of a thousand mile begins with a step and this ordeal is a fast match to posterity in Ankpa 2 constituency, Ankpa local government area, Kogi state and Nigeria at large.
