The grand finale of 2016 Success TIYU Soccer Competition will be decided on Monday at the Confluence Stadium, Lokoja.
The final will see Federal Medical Centre, FMC Football Club taking on G20 Etegi FC by 4pm.
Chairman of Organizing Committee and Director of Success TIYU International, Abubakar Musa ‘Manaman’ noted that the final will also witness award presentation to outstanding contributors to sport development in Kogi State.
Some of the award recipients include the Honorable Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development in Kogi State, Comrade Adoji Arome, Chairman, Kogi State Referees Council, Mallam Ibrahim Adebayo Adams, Special Adviser to Governor Yahaya Bello on Youth, Sports and Student Affairs, Comrade Adeola Eseyin.
Others are the Sole Administrator of Bassa Local Government, Hon. Samuel Zakari Alumka, Sports Consultant, Chief David Owolabi Ayokunle and a sports philanthropist, Alhaji Mohammed Abu Garba.
Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Alfa Umar Imam is expected to be the chairman of the final.
To get to the final, G20 Etegi defeated the defending champions, Kogi United Feeders 2-1 while FMC FC got the better of Black Stars FC with a comfortable 4-0 victory.
Fantastic prizes for the Best Player of the tournament, Top Scorer, Best Goalkeeper shall be presented at the final tomorrow.
