Member representing Ankpa I state constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Honourable Ahmed Mohammed, has fulfiled his pledge by offering five students of Unity Comprehensive Secondary School Ankpa full scholarships.
The lawmaker took the school by surprise at the assembly ground today where he presented a cheque to the school management. The modalities of the scholarship covers free education to the students, and all other expenses till their graduation.
He said the scholarship will motivate the students to study hard and also qualify them to get admission to any university of their choice.
Addressing the students, Hon. Ahmed encouraged them to take their academic as a priority and also commended the teachers for putting their best to ensure that the students are sound in character and learning.
It will be recalled that Ahmed Ahmed, who was special guest of honour at the school’s graduation ceremony in July 2016, pledged to offer five outstanding students scholarships.
