A group under the aegis of Kogi Central Community Development Association has appealed to the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) to call the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) to order over the perennial power outage and exploitation in their area.

In a letter of complaints/demand jointly issued by the association they expressed dissatisfaction over the electricity supply and over billing of customers in Kogi Central Senatorial district in the last six months.

The letter which was signed by the association’s President, Comrade Musa Adinoyi Isah and the Ebira Youth Congress (EYC) President Comrade Baba Abdulrazak said in spite of written complaints to the AEDC headquarters, nothing has been done to salvage the situation.
It called on NERC to prevail on the company to do the needful adding that the community had “patiently waited with the hope that AEDC would improve and give quality service to the community.
