Opinion: The Supreme Court’s Verdict Hinged on Constitutional Provisions and Interpretations

Normally, judgement of this kind evoke double reactions whereby some people would jubilate while others would be grief and lugubrious.

After his victory at the Supreme Court,  Governor Bello gave reasons why some genuine workers haven’t been paid and promised that the Screening exercise will soon be completed. Upon completion, every cleared unpaid workers will be paid, says the Governor.

What we need to do as a patriotic kogites irrespective of our ethno-religious and political differences, is to align with the government and contribute our quota via generation of productive conceptions, constructive criticism and making of suggestions for solutions.

I believed, the political Rough-and-Tumble are all over for now, governance has began. Building an inhabitable and a developed Kogi State of our dreams can only be achieved under a peaceful atmosphere via the collective responsibilities of all and sundry.
