Former Chairman of Senate Committee on Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Senator Smart Adeyemi said the late Minister of State for Labour and Employment, James Ocholi (SAN), was a man with great humility.
He also said he was an emerging rallying point for Kogi State.
Adeyemi, who admitted that he was still in a state of shock, said: “The death of Ocholi was so shocking and painful to be imagined. One of the rising stars of Kogi State has passed on.

“He was a man, whose influence cut across the state, irrespective of tribe and religion. He was an emerging rallying-point for Kogi State. He was a man who would have succeeded in unifying the state.
“He was a man with great humility and a God-fearing man. His ministerial appointment was widely acceptable to the people of the state. He was a detribalised Nigerian.
“His loss is not just to his community and the state, but a great loss to Nigeria. He was very mobile and enterprising.”
