Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko has urged the people of Kogi to re-elect the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the November 12 election, Capt. Idris Wada to enable him continue his transformation agenda for the state.

Mimiko, who led Wada’s campaign train to Kabba, in the western axis of the state, stated that all PDP governors were working in unity to ensure the victory of their colleague in Kogi.

He expressed optimism that Wada will win the election given his efforts in the areas of human and infrastructural development in the state.

Addressing the crowd of supporters at the rally, Wada assured that probity and accountability would continue to be his watchwords if re-elected so as to continue his good works for the people.

Former PDP national chairman, Senator Ahmadu Ali, said Kogi has been a PDP state and would continue to be so, adding that the party has delivered on the dividends of democracy since 2003.

He urged Kogi people to vote PDP in the forthcoming election.
