As the gubernatorial election in Kogi State draws closer, an Abuja-based chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who hails from Egume, Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Hassan Namiji Aboh has embarked on a robust sensitization campaign to bring the electorates, particularly those of Dekina Local Government extraction to par in ensuring the victory of Prince Abubakar Audu in the November 21st governorship election.
While speaking to journalists during the commissioning of a party office he set up in Egume to bolster the strength of the party and boost the campaign of Prince Audu, Hon. Hassan Aboh maintained that the people of Egume his immediate community and Dekina Local Government as a whole have resolved to make the candidacy of Prince Abubakar Audu their only and best alternative as they believe he possess the merit, competence, and capacity to bringing smiles on the faces of Kogites and called on other Local Government Areas in the State to take a cue from Dekina LG.
Hon. Namiji, who worked assiduously for the success of the party in Dekina Local Government during the Presidential, Senate, House of Representatives and the State House of Assembly elections conducted earlier this year, has also initiated and currently facilitating a Prince Abubakar Audu door-to-door campaign in Egume community and other localities in Dekina Local Government with the ultimate aim of ensuring the rebound of Audu to Lugard House.
He urged leaders of APC in Dekina LGA and the State at large to always embark on brainstorming sessions and re-engineer their strategies before the November gubernatorial election to ensure a landslide victory for Prince Audu at the polls. He also added that all hands must be on deck to continue to showcase and sensitize the people of monumental landmarks of Audu which are still visible on Kogi’s landscape till date despite his exit from office for more than a decade.
