PDP Primary: Wada’s Emergence is Victory for Kogites – Atumeyi

The victory of Captain Idris Wada in the just concluded Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primary has been described as victory for Kogi indigenes.

 

Commenting on the primary election, The National Chairman of Network for Change and Good Governance (NCGG), Comrade Ismaila Yusuf Atumeyi, said Wada’s victory is a clear demonstration that the good people of Kogi state have great confidence in him to steer the affairs if the state.

 

“We, at NCGG, are very happy with the way and manner the primary was conducted. It was transparent, free and fair. The outcome is undoubtedly the voice of Kogi people, young and old”, he said.

 

 

“We urge our leaders, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, Alhaji Jibrin Isah Echocho, Senator Smart Adeyemi and Chief Jide Omokore to join hands with Wada to make Kogi great”

 

Atumeyi called on Kogi indigenes, home and abroad, to pray for the state and her leaders daily.

 

“We must pray regularly for our leaders irrespective of the political parties they belong to. Kogi state is not for Wada, Audu or Yahaya Bello, Kogi is for all of us”
