A group under the aegis of Coalition of All Progressives Congress Support Groups in Kogi State has said the APC will emerge victorious in the forthcoming November, 2015 governorship election.
The group chairman, Dr. Yakubu Ugwolawo, who spoke during the inauguration of the newly constituted executives, said Kogi State needs an immediate rescue operation from its present state of underdevelopment and abject poverty.
He said the APC is set to replicate the successes it recorded during the Presidential and National Assembly elections in the state, as according to him the people are dissatisfied with the poor performance of the PDP-led government in the state.
Ugwolawo called on residents to vote out the PDP government, saying it has brought untold hardship to the people in the last twelve years despite the abundant human and natural resources.
The APC chieftain appealed to Nigerians to have faith in the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, as the present hardship being experienced by the citizenry will soon be a thing of the past.
