The Kogi State pavilion led the pack in the hosting of special day celebration at the ongoing 9th Abuja International Trade fair at the J.T Useni fair complex.
The special day activities featured the exhibition of solid materials and agricultural endowment of the state to prospective investors led by the Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Yabagi Bologi.
Addressing investors during the guided tour of the state’s pavilion, Bologi who regretted that the solid mineral deposits in the state have not been exploited in commercial quantities, renewed the state’s call on the federal Government to revamp the Ajaokuta Steel Company.
Bologi said: “I must at this point renew the state government’s appeal to the federal government to urgently look into the completion of the Ajaokuta steel project in view of the government’s plan in establishing an automobile industry in the country.”
