Wada Pledges Support for Traditional Rulers

Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State has said that his administration will support traditional rulers in the state to discharge their duties effectively.
Governor Wada made the pledge yesterday when the Attah of Igala, Michael Idakwo Ameh Oboni, paid him a courtesy visit.
Wada said the Attah Igala as chairman, Kogi traditional council, plays a great role in unifying not only Igala people but the entire state.
“Your late father was a revered leader who raised the morale and confidence of Igala people. We expect you to build on the foundation of your  late father and late Aliyu Obaje to bring Igala people to its rightful place,” he said.
