Newly Appointed Presidential Campaign Council Member Promises Grassroots Political Engagement, Youth Consolidation and Strategic Mobilisation for APC Victory
Comrade Rufus Obafemi has reaffirmed his unwavering loyalty and total commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following his appointment as a Member of the Directorate of Youth/Students Mobilisation, Presidential Campaign Council, Kogi State, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement reacting to his appointment, Obafemi described the recognition as a profound honour and a call to greater responsibility, expressing appreciation for the confidence reposed in him by the party’s leadership.
He pledged to deploy his political experience, organisational capacity and grassroots connections towards strengthening the APC’s electoral machinery, particularly through strategic youth and student engagement across Kogi State.
The newly appointed campaign council member emphasised that his mandate would go beyond occupying a position, promising purposeful mobilisation, wider political participation and sustained grassroots sensitisation to consolidate support for the APC and its candidates.
Obafemi declared his readiness to work tirelessly with party leaders, stakeholders, youth organisations and student groups to advance the party’s political agenda and secure an emphatic electoral victory in 2027.
“I humbly pledge my total loyalty, unwavering commitment and maximum support towards the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and all APC candidates in Kogi State,” he affirmed.
He further expressed confidence in the party’s collective strength, stressing the importance of unity, strategic coordination and inclusive mobilisation in achieving its electoral objectives.
Reiterating his political resolve, Obafemi declared: “Together, we shall mobilise, unite and deliver!”
He concluded with the resounding political affirmation: “On your mandate, Mr President! On your mandate, Governor Ododo! APC – Progress, Unity and Victory!”
