In a press statement issued in Lokoja, Hon. Omonisaye commended the duo following their installation as the Atayese of Ayere Kingdom (Hon. Bode Adeyemi) and the Amuludun of Ayere Kingdom (Hon. Alex Ibikunle Obaropo).

Hon. Omonisaye described the prestigious traditional titles as a fitting recognition of their service, noting that the honour brings pride not only to the recipients and their families, but to the entire Ayere Kingdom.

“These prestigious traditional titles represent an important recognition and a moment of pride for the recipients, their families, and the entire Ayere Kingdom,” Omonisaye stated. “The conferment also reflects the enduring importance of traditional institutions in preserving our cultural heritage, promoting unity, and encouraging meaningful contributions to community development.”

The Governor’s aide expressed confidence that the chieftaincy honours would spur both community leaders to greater heights in advancing the peace, stability, and growth of Ayere Kingdom and the broader Okun nation.

While wishing the new chiefs good health and wisdom, Hon. Omonisaye prayed for divine grace as they assume the responsibilities attached to their respective titles.
