The Onyi Ododo Forum in New Zango, Adavi Local Government Area, has organized a special prayer session to support the Adavi LG chairmanship candidate, Hon. Sule Jimoh Ozovehe ahead of the LG elections.
The prayer session took place at his country home in New Zango, Adavi LGA. Members of the forum and Islamic clerics assembled to offer specific supplications from the Holy Quran for his success and victory.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the Onyi Ododo Forum, Mallam Musari Salawu, said the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adavi LG Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Sule Ozovehe Jimoh is part of them, and the forum will support him with all its strength.
Mallam Musari added that this prayer is committed to Almighty Allah to guide him throughout his tenure in office, and for all members of the forum to live long and benefit from the dividends of democracy.
During the prayer session, Islamic leader, Sayyidi Ahmed Bashir ibn Sheikh Ahmed Rufai commended the Onyi Ododo Forum for deeming it fit to call upon God for the peaceful coexistence of the land and continued unity among Adavi residents.
Imam Rabiu Muhammed, the Chief Imam of Alhaji Giwa Juma’at Mosque in New Zango, beseeched Allah to accept all supplications offered during and after the elections, and to grant peace to Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Adavi East Constituency, Hon. Muhammed I. Aliyu (Wazo), who also graced the occasion, expressed his excitement over the unwavering love the Onyi Ododo Forum has shown for the APC at all levels over the past decade.
In his appreciation, the All Progressives Congress (APC) Adavi LG Chairmanship candidate, Hon. Sule Ozovehe Jimoh, expressed deep gratitude to the Onyi Ododo Forum for finding him worthy and investing their resources in supporting his campaign ahead of the upcoming local government elections.
Hon. Ozovehe stated that the prayers offered to him by the forum were highly welcome, adding that he applauded the leadership of the forum and the Islamic clerics who led the prayers.
