2027: INEC Clears Gbenga Bright as ADC Candidate for Ijumu 1 State Constituency

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially cleared Gbenga Bright Olulade as the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the Ijumu 1 State Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general election.

The clearance confirms Bright as the authentic and duly recognized candidate of the ADC for the constituency, putting to rest any questions surrounding his candidacy.

Reacting to the development, Bright expressed gratitude to God, the ADC leadership, and the people of Gbede Constituency for their continued support and confidence in his aspiration.

“To God be the glory, I have been cleared by INEC as ADC candidate for Ijumu 1 State Constituency,” he said. “This finally confirms me as the authentic candidate of the African Democratic Congress for Ijumu 1 State Constituency for the 2027 election.”

He described the moment as one of “jubilation and service,” and pledged to prioritize development and fresh ideas for the constituency if elected.

“It is a moment of jubilation and service, setting the pace for new development and new ideas for Ijumu 1 Constituency,” Bright added. “By God’s grace, we shall win, we shall deliver.”

With his candidacy now formalized, attention turns to the ADC’s mobilization efforts in Ijumu 1 ahead of the 2027 polls, as the party looks to consolidate support across the constituency.
