Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has extended warm felicitations to the government and good people of Kogi State on the historic milestone of its 35th anniversary.

Reflecting on the journey of the Confluence State since its creation on August 27, 1991, Meseko commended the resilience, rich cultural heritage, and unwavering spirit of the citizens. He emphasized that the state’s anniversary is not merely a celebration of time passed, but a call to action for all stakeholders to deepen their commitment to the shared vision of progress and stability.

In his anniversary message, the APC chieftain made a passionate appeal to the residents of Kogi State across all ethnic, political, and religious divides to unite in the spirit of peaceful coexistence. According to Meseko, sustainable economic growth and infrastructural expansion can only thrive in an atmosphere of enduring peace and social harmony.

Meseko urged all citizens to set aside their differences and harness the state’s diversity as a powerful catalyst for collective prosperity.

He praised Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration for its leadership, and steady efforts to drive development across all three senatorial districts.

To sustain this momentum, he called on the populace and faith leaders to continuously intercede in prayer for their leaders as they navigate the state’s complex socio-economic and security challenges.

Meseko expressed firm optimism about the state’s future trajectory, asserting that with the continuous backing of the populace and the governance style of Governor Ododo’s administration, Kogi State will overcome its contemporary hurdles and achieve its full potential as an economic hub in North-Central Nigeria.
