The Chairman of Onyi Ododo Forum marks the annual Mawlid an-Nabi to celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his progeny).
The event took place at his residence in New Zango, Adavi Local Government Area, where the Muslim faithful gathered to celebrate the occasion of the Holy Prophet (SAWW).
While delivering a lecture, the Chief Imam of Alhaji Giwa Mosque in New Zango, Imam Muhammed Rabiu, emphasized the need to manifest the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his household in our daily activities.
Imam Rabiu urged the entire Muslim Ummah to come together and embrace unity irrespective of their ideologies, stating that we all believe in Allah and in Prophet Muhammad as His messenger.
He commended the efforts of Mallam Musari Salawu from inception, noting his annual organization of the Mawlid and his unwavering love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).
Imam Rabiu further added that all residents across the zone should imitate the lifestyle of Mallam Musari Salawu, who was deeply committed to Islam and sacrificed his entire life to promoting the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAWW).
He prayed that the month of Rabiul Awwal would serve as a blessing for Mallam Musari and open more resources for him to continue this gesture in the years to come.
