The Social Democratic Party (SDP) candidate for the House of Representatives seat representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Prince Gowon Enenche, popularly known as G1, has held a strategic dialogue with youths from the constituency on sustainable development and youth participation in governance.
The engagement brought together youth representatives from the three local government areas — Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro — and centred on identifying challenges confronting residents while exploring practical, sustainable solutions to drive inclusive development across the federal constituency.
Speaking at the event, Enenche said the meeting was designed to give young people a platform to articulate their concerns, aspirations and ideas for the advancement of the constituency.

“Earlier today, I had the privilege of engaging with the vibrant youths of Ankpa Federal Constituency, engaging in meaningful deliberations on driving sustainable, progressive development across Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Local Government Areas,” he said.
He said issues raised by the youth representatives from each local government area were carefully considered, with discussions centred on concrete approaches to addressing developmental needs.
“The representatives from each local government area raised critical issues, and we took the time to address every question with concrete solutions. I remain deeply grateful to our young leaders for their passion, vision and active engagement,” Enenche said.
The event comes as the SDP candidate continues to articulate his vision for effective representation ahead of the forthcoming National Assembly election. He stressed the need for youth inclusion in political and developmental decision-making, saying young people must be active participants — not spectators — in shaping their communities’ future.
A highlight of the event was the conferment of the honorary title, Ambassador of Ethics and Conscience (AEC), on Enenche by the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO).
He was also listed among the Top 100 Highly Rated, Ethically Upright and Corrupt-Free Private Sector CEOs in Nigeria, an honour the organisation said reflects his contributions to citizen well-being, national interest, poverty reduction and ethical leadership.
Reacting, Enenche described the honour as both a privilege and a responsibility.
“I am deeply honoured by this recognition from CESVO. It is a testament to the importance of integrity, transparency and ethical leadership in building a better society,” he said.
He pledged that the recognition would strengthen his resolve to remain committed to ethical conduct.
“I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to upholding the high standards of integrity, transparency and ethical conduct that earned this trust. This recognition is not merely an honour; it is a responsibility to do more for our people and our nation,” he added.
The engagement underscores Enenche’s growing emphasis on youth participation, ethical leadership and grassroots consultation as central pillars of his campaign as he seeks to represent Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives on the platform of the SDP.
