The sad news about my dear Egbon, Oyewole Mayowa Solomon’s demise is indeed a severe blow that is hard to deal with. His passing away has caused a permanent mark of emptiness and silence in my heart.
His death is yet another reminder that life is fragile since it seems like a wisp of wind, in the sense that it is here today and gone tomorrow, without us having any control over the timing of its departure. We make plans, wish, hope, dream, and create the best future with the people we love and care about; however, none of us knows when our time will be up.
Therefore, Egbon Oyewole’s passing away has reminded me of the importance of cherishing the little time we have together with the people we care about. Moreover, I realized that although life may be fleeting, it can leave behind everlasting prints of love, kindness, memories, and legacies.

It is not easy for me to understand how someone who was right beside me full of life could leave us so suddenly, and although it is still challenging to accept, I am grateful for the memories he was able to create with me. He may be gone, but his legacy and prints of life will always be dear to my heart.
Rest in peace, my dear Egbon Oyewole Mayowa Solomon. Your lifetime journey here on earth has come to an end, but your legacy, kindness, and footprint will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved and cared about you.
May Almighty God grant you eternal peace and comfort in your resting place and give strength to your family, relatives, friends, and the entire association of people who care about you during this difficult and testing time.
May God also give them the strength to overcome this unbearable loss and the courage to carry the beautiful memories of you in their hearts for the rest of their lives.
Rest in peace, my dear friend, Egbon Oyewole Mayowa Solomon. Be at peace because those who loved you will always cherish the life you had with them. Until we meet again.
