Prince Olushola Akanmode has been described as a quintessential leader and father figure to the Ayetoro-Gbede community.
In a tribute on Tuesday, African Democratic Congress (ADC) House of Assembly candidate for Ijumu I State Constituency in Kogi State ahead of the 2027 general elections, Comrade Oluade Gbenga Bright, celebrated Prince Akanmode’s years of service to the people.
In his remarks, Bright thanked God for the grace and mercy shown to Prince Akanmode over the years and praised him for what he called sustained visionary leadership, mentorship, direction and guidance to the community and its people.
“I celebrate you, sir, and wish you long life, good health, peace, love and more success in life,” Bright said, describing the celebrant as a wonderful political and community leader who has served the public with honour, integrity and dignity.
