In a strategic move to consolidate the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s chances in the forthcoming elections, Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim, a frontline party stalwart, has engaged with the Kogi Local Government PDP Executive Committee in a high-level consultative meeting.

The session, which brought together party stakeholders and ward executives, focused on refining strategies and mobilizing grassroots support to secure a decisive victory for the PDP in Kogi Local Government.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Abdulkadir emphasized the need for the party to remain strategic and intentional in its approach. He called on stakeholders to intensify voter sensitization efforts, ensuring that the electorate across every ward and hamlet of the local government understands the party’s vision and is mobilized to cast their votes accordingly.

“We must not relent in our efforts. It is imperative that we scrutinize every assigned responsibility and ensure that those entrusted with delivering results are fully accountable. Our strength lies in our unity and our ability to connect with the people at the grassroots,” he stated.

Hon. Abdulkadir also expressed deep appreciation for the unwavering commitment and tireless dedication of the party executives in their efforts to woo back former members and reintegrate them into the PDP fold. He reaffirmed that the PDP remains the only political platform capable of delivering tangible dividends of democracy to the people of Lokoja-Kogi Federal Constituency.

In a special tribute, he commended the Leader of the PDP in Kogi Local Government, Hon. Barr. Shaba Ibrahim, a former Member of the House of Representatives, for his visionary leadership and relentless contribution to the growth of the party in the area.

Reinforcing the call for collective action, the PDP Chairman in Kogi Local Government urged all ward chairmen and executive members to return to their various communities and galvanize support for Hon. Abdulkadir Ibrahim. He declared that the time had come for the PDP to reclaim its pride of place, as the people were growing weary of the current system that has failed to meet their expectations.

“The days of the PDP are here again. The people are tired; they are yearning for change. It is our duty to bring them back into the party, unite our house, and work towards a resounding victory,” the Chairman remarked.

In his contribution, the PDP Chairman for Lokoja Local Government, Hon. Saba, lauded the party stakeholders and executives for their steadfastness and unwavering dedication. He urged them to sustain their momentum and continue mobilizing support for Hon. Abdulkadir and the PDP ahead of the impending polls.
