Kogi Education Commissioner Commends Champions Bee Competition Organizers

Kogi State Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Jones, has commended Zion Global Services Limited, the organizers of 2026 Champions Bee Competition for their contributions to the education sector of the state.

Jones gave the commendation during a meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of Zion Global Services Limited, Miss Ihiabe Glory Ojimaojo, and her team in Lokoja on Tuesday.

The meeting reviewed the level of their preparation for the hosting of the competition on the 6th and 27th of June, 2026.

Hon. Jones reiterated the commitment of the state government to improving the living standards of the people through education, noting that the Spelling Bee Competition would add value to the state educational system.

He noted that the competition would broaden the knowledge of the students and improve their learning skills.

The Commissioner promised to collaborate with the organisers to ensure that students in public schools participate fully in the competition.

In her brief, the CEO of the organization Miss. Ihiabe Glory Ojimaojo said the competition would commence on the 6th of June with the first Session at NUT Conference Room Lokoja while the grand finale would come up on the 27th of June 2026 at the same Venue.

She stated that the aims of the competition was to improve literacy, reward diligence and improve the educational tapestry in the state.

The competition she said is open to students in both private and public schools in the state.
