Member representing Ajaokuta constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Jibril Abu, has fulfilled his promise to Radio Nigeria’s Prime FM in Jimgbe with a donation of solar energy panel.
The lawmaker made the promise while featuring on the Open Governance Forum live radio program by Conscience for Human Rights and Conflict Resolution (CHRCR) and Initiative for Grassroot Advancement (INGRA) last month.
Executive Director of CHRCH, Comrade Idris Miliki Abdul, who witnessed the donation at Jimgbe on Thursday, expressed gratitude to Hon. Jibril for the gesture.
Miliki, alongside the management of INGRA, urged individuals and cooperate organizations to emulate the lawmaker and continue to support media organizations and practitioners in Kogi state.
“Media are the mirror of the society and need support always for them to perform their constitutional duties and responsibilities,” they said.
