The Kogi State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has dismissed attempts by some individuals to incite party members in Mozum Ward, describing the actions as null and void.

In a statement, Abu Michael, Media Adviser to the PDP Chairman, said the alleged actions of Ward Executives, who are yet to be inaugurated, are a gross violation of the party’s constitution.

He said the party has set up a committee to investigate the matter and take disciplinary action against those involved.

The statement affirmed that Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo remains the PDP Chairman, urging members and the public to disregard misinformation.

It noted that Gambo’s leadership has been exemplary, with no petitions filed against him.

The statement attributed the actions of a former Lawmaker, now in APC, and some disgruntled elements as baseless attempts to derail the party’s growth.

The Mozum Ward PDP has also denied any involvement, with members urged to remain calm as Gambo continues as Kogi State Chairman.
