Festivals and Events Sub-Committee of the Ogori Descendants Union (ODU) has announced the schedule of events for the 2026 Ovia Osese Festival.
This year’s event themed “Living the Legacy: A Rich Celebration of Tradition and Identity” will begin with Praise Night on Sunday, April 12th and end with Thanksgiving Services on Sunday, April 19th.
Find below the detailed programme schedule:

Board games, road show and local games are scheduled for Monday, 13th April, 2026.
On Tuesday, April 14, Senior Citizens Jogging will hold in the morning followed by volleyball finals in the afternoon, while quiz and debates is scheduled for evening of same day.
Marathon race, cooking competition and Oko language competition are fixed for Wednesday, April 15. Entertaining night holds same day.
On Thursday, April 16, Time With Ivia talk show will hold by 10am before football finals by 4pm while Eregba Night holds in the evening.
On April 17, a colourful carnival will hold by 6a, followed by Mrs Aiso’s medical outreach for girls by 3:30pm before Miss Ogori pageantry by 5pm.
Saturday, April 18 is the grand finale.
